Do Not Blame OPEC

Blame The Biden Administration

As Americans keep complaining about the surge at the gas pump after OPEC decided to cut oil production output, they are blaming the wrong culprit.

OPEC is not to blame, after all, OPEC is a business organization and as a business, is in it to make money. They are looking out for their members, unlike Joe Biden who is not looking out for the American people.

Democrat voters were elated when Joe Biden announced he was getting rid of oil production in the United States. They thought everything would remain the same and our energy consumption needs were going to be taken care of without it.

Although Biden did not shutdown oil production the amount of oil produced under his watch has been significantly lower.

In 2021, the United States was producing 11.9 million barrels of crude a day. In 2020 was closer to 11.28 million barrels.

In comparison, 2019 produced a record high of 12.3 million barrels a day. It is clear oil production has decline under the Biden administration.

The Energy Information Administration is claiming oil production is going to rise to 11.91 million barrels per day and it will reach a record high of 12.85 million barrels by 2023.

How did the EIA figure this out is beyond me. These figures do not make sense given the current state of oil production in the United States. We will have to see, but even Common Core mathematics cannot reconcile the figures.

As Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Green stated back on May 17, 2022, “Since Biden took office he cancelled the Keystone pipeline, released half of our strategic petroleum reserve, is canceling oil and gas leases, and it is waging a proxy war with Russia with sanctions that line Putin’s pockets and empty ours.” “Dems are blaming price gouging.”

You may or may not like the congresswoman, but she is 100% right in her assessment. After all, gas station owners make an average of 0.03 cents per gallon of gas sold. Gas stations make their money inside, selling merchandise.

Gas station operators are trying to earn our business and that is why you notice the difference in gasoline prices from town to town and station to station.

When the Biden administration claims gas station operators are price gauging, folks, that is a complete lie.

Gasoline is a commodity and gas station operators are only following the market value. Unfortunately, when the demand is higher than the supply, prices are going to go up as demand continues to grow.

Under the Trump administration the United States was an energy producer and exporter. Under the Biden administration, the United States has become a beggar.

Unlike former President Trump, Joe Biden has a poor relationship with OPEC countries and that is why his begging has been ignored.

In trying to mitigate this self-inflicted wound, the Biden administration has released over 180 million barrels of oil from our Strategic Petroleum Reserves with little impact at the pump.

In my opinion, this release is a serious national security issue. The SPR is for times of emergency as when we faced the oil embargos of the 70’s, and not a piggy bank to pull from for political expediency.

As the Biden administration continues to kiss up to the Green Energy lobby and fails to invest in our energy needs, Americans will continue to feel the pain at the pump.

As inflation continues to skyrocket and the dream of electric cars is unaffordable to most Americans, do not blame OPEC for taking care of their own, blame your government for not taking care of you.

Is It Time to Ditch the PGA Tour?

I Think so…

Damaged Goods! Enough said!

Since the cancelation of the Player’s Championship due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the PGA Tour has gone on a downward spiral.

First, they wanted to be the first sport to defy the pandemic with a big comeback. Jay Monahan adopted some draconian rules, instituted some flawed restrictions, and he got his wish.

The first event was the Charles Schwab Challenge and not to outdo himself, Jay Monahan decide that it was a wise decision to save an honorary tee time for convicted felon, George Floyd.

Probably because he thought the Black Lives Matter thugs were going to campout outside the gates at Colonial, so he wanted to be as woke as possible to avoid such embarrassment. The problem with Jay’s move is that it was embarrassing.

Of all the people they could have chosen for an honorary tee time, the PGA Tour chooses a convicted felon, drug addict, and domestic violence perpetrator. Nice example for the kids to follow.

After that, it was the ‘White Guilt’ trip. Every tournament the likes of Cameron Champ, Tony Finau, and Harold Varner III, were the faces of the PGA Tour. The PGA Tour took it upon itself to lecture fans on racial issues instead of just entertaining the crowds.

Lumping everyone in the same group has never been smart, but when the PGA Tour jumped into the woke stratosphere, they did not know what they were getting into.

Today’s professional golf is about talent, regardless of color or race, unfortunately the PGA Tour wants to tell you, the fan, that you are a racist, but still wants your money.

Of course, this was a flash in the pan. These gentlemen should have known this gig was not going to last forever. The PGA Tour did not get boycotted and that is all they wanted. Mission accomplished Jay!

The fact remains that Finau, Champ, and Varner III, are remarkable golf players and do not need the PGA Tour to equate their talent with their race. It is cheap and unfair.

When you have to try to sell your product with specific messaging your product is probably not that good to begin with. The PGA Tour has gone out of their way to let us know they are not a bunch of racists, and their mission is to make golf as inclusive as possible.

Sure, as long as you do not try to play the private clubs that nobody else can play. Stick to the municipal and public courses and they will be as inclusive as they can be. The PGA Tour is full of it.

They have peddled inclusiveness since 2014, but it was not until the Black Lives Matter movement threatened their livelihood, the PGA Tour actually felt the heat.

Then it came LIV and Greg Norman. For months, PGA Tour Commissioner, Jay Monahan, has said, in not so many words, any player wishing to play on the LIV Golf League can do it at their own peril.

To be honest, I have always thought of Jay Monahan as a petty thug. He always walks around like he is better than anyone else, like a bully searching for a fight. He reminds me of a mafia “Don.”

He got a prize fight coming with Greg Norman and with the players that wish to play LIV events and cash-in big. Of course, the top 10 players in the world who make millions, not only on the course, but with major endorsement deals, are sticking with Monahan.

People like Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy are nothing more than Monahan’s lapdogs, spreading his lousy talking points.

Most of these players do not know anything about geopolitics and get their information from Twitter or Facebook, so for them to whine about the Saudi Arabian government without the facts means nothing.

Where were Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, or even the ‘has been’ Fred Couples, when the PGA Tour was giving honorary tee times to a convicted felon?

Has the PGA Tour ever given an honorary tee time to a fallen law enforcement officer? Not that I can remember, despite the fact police officers provide protection to these bunch during golf tournaments.

Furthermore, spare me the outrage over Saudi Arabia and its human rights record. China’s is not that good either, but the NBA does business with the Chinese Communist Party and nobody screams outrage.

Nike, a big sponsor of players on the PGA Tour, makes its apparel in China, and those making millions from wearing Nike apparel on the PGA Tour do not seem to care about China’s dismal human rights record. Either that or they choose to ignore it for the sake of making money, which is even worse.

Why McIlroy and other professional players continue to use apparel made by Nike? After all, this apparel is manufacture in China under awful conditions, in what many have called child labor camps and sweatshops.

The Chinese Communist Party is an equal violator of human rights, but I do not hear Jay Monahan complaining about it or McIlroy giving up his big Nike contract. Nothing but hypocrites.

The PGA Tour has very little room to claim the moral high ground over Greg Norman or the LIV Golf League.

The PGA Tour has shown its true nature during this spat with Greg Norman. Their behavior and reaction has made me questioned their ‘non-profit’ status and welcome any investigation by the Federal Trade Commission.

I believe the PGA Tour, by threatening independent contractors with their livelihoods, is breaking antitrust laws, and behaving like a business and not a non-profit organization.

The PGA Tour and DP World Tour are acting as if they have an absolute ownership of golf. I believe they are attempting to monopolize professional golf and are using some questionable practices to keep PGA Tour and DP World Tour members on a tight leach.

A clear example is how Jay Monahan denied all the waivers for players to play the first LIV event in London. The PGA Tour has always granted these waivers in the past and this is nothing more than Jay Monahan flexing his muscle. I think some players are going to take the plunge and deal with the PGA Tour in court, if necessary, and I hope they do.

The PGA Tour is a big money maker, so I do not understand why they cannot coexist with the LIV League. IRS filings for FY2019, show the PGA Tour total assets at a $3,384,025,893.00 and even after expenses, the PGA Tour had a net balance of over 1 billion dollars. Not too shabby for a ‘non-profit’ organization if you ask me.

https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/520999206/202023219349309777/full

I believe the PGA Tour has become a toxic environment not worthy of my viewership. It is a shame because I thought golf was going to stay away from all the woke-isms, but under Jay Monahan’s regime, they are neck deep in it.

I love and watch golf for its entertainment value, not to be lectured on social issues. The LIV saga and the way the PGA Tour has treated Phil Mickelson, finally did it for me and I am ready to write off the PGA Tour along with all their hypocritical garbage.

I am looking forward to watching some LIV events, and I am looking forward to seeing which players are ready to take the leap and let Jay Monahan make his move.

LIV v. PGA Tour is just around the corner, and I cannot wait to see how it will turn out. Professional golf and the PGA Tour are ready to face an awakening.

The PGA Tour better have lots of money to spend on lawyers, because you can bet Greg Norman is going to have all the money he will need.

I believe in competition and the free market. LIV has provided the PGA Tour and DP World Tour an opportunity to put their money where their mouth is and prove to the world they are indeed a better product and not the only product.

The fans are not stupid and they are very capable of deciding which product is better.

Biden’s Domestic Travel Vaccine Mandate

Possible Restrictions On Domestic Airline Travel for The Unvaccinated

The Dynamic Duo of Incompetency! Photo courtesy of eyewitnessngr.com

In their continued attempt to mandate vaccinations for the entire United States, Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci are floating the idea of imposing domestic travel restrictions for those Americans who are not vaccinated.

When asked about it, Joe Biden was quoted as saying, “when I get a recommendation from the medical team.” What he is saying is when Fauci and Walensky tell him to do it, he will.

This is what it is all about, their infatuation with vaccine mandates and how far they are willing to go to get it done. They’ll bankrupt the airline industry if that’s what it takes.

Fauci was asked during an interview on MSNBC and he didn’t flinch when giving an answer. “When you make vaccination a requirement, that’s another incentive to get people vaccinated.” “If you want to do that with domestic flights, I think that’s something that seriously should be considered.”

These people are evil and they don’t care about the country, your health, your life, or your rights. Biden and his administration are drunk on power and they will make you submit one way or the other.

Not only will this absurd suggestion put undue strain on the airline industry, but on the thousands of Americans who depend on airline travel to work and conduct business.

Joe Biden is so stupid, he will go on national television and try to sell it to the American people as something ‘good for the economy.’

How much more of this is the American people willing to put up with?

One thing is for sure, the 2022 mid-term elections are around the corner and it will be up to us to put this incompetent third world style dictatorship out of business.

Real Estate Wokeness Gone Wild

How a Couple of CEO’s Don’t Think You Should Know if Your Future Neighborhood is Safe

One thing I have always done while house hunting is to make a point of visiting the local Police Department.

You may ask yourself why I do that. Simple, like Willie Sutton used to say, he robbed banks because that’s where the money was, the same thing with Police Departments, that’s where the information is, they know about the crime activity in the neighborhood.

I don’ know of anybody who willingly would want to buy a home in a crime ridden neighborhood, but that’s not what the CEO’s of Realtor.com and Redfin believe.

According to Realtor CEO, David Doctorow, the crime statistics option on their search engine has been removed from the search options.

As to the why the decision to remove such an important search from their engine, Doctorow was quoted as saying, “level the playing field” and “reimagine how we integrate safety data.”

He went on to say about the FBI Crime Statistics, “unfairly penalize communities of color.”

Mr. Doctorow wants to cover the sky with his hands and wants you to believe crime statistics are culturally biased or some other liberal nonsense.

He is trying to convince you that FBI Crime Statistics, which show that 13% of the population, who happens to be African American, are arrested for more than half of the country’s murders and 52% of major robberies, are somehow racist or inaccurate.

He may think this information is not pertinent when looking for a safe place to live.

Redfin, another real estate search engine, went on as far as to claim crime statistics were inaccurate and quote “there’s to great of this inaccuracy reinforcing rural bias.”

I am sure the FBI would highly disagree with Redfin CEO, Christian Taubman.

Perhaps, Taubman is willfully ignorant as to the reality on the ground or he is just simply too woke.

Taubman, who has zero law enforcement experience, claims, “most crimes in the U.S. go unreported.” Of course he can’t back up that claim, but alas.

A 2019 Crime Victimization Survey figures mirrored those of the FBI, indicating that Black Americans accounted for a quarter of all reported violent crimes.

Taubman went on to dismiss the results of the survey as “racially bias.”

Again, Taubman has no experience to challenge the FBI data or its conclusions. The truth is never racially biased Mr. Taubman. The truth doesn’t differentiate between color, races, or national origins.

The facts are the facts. The FBI data is a compilation of information from law enforcement agencies nationwide. They are not socially biased, they are factual reports, based on actual criminal activity and arrests.

Let’s be honest, for Doctorow and Taubman it is all about the money and not your safety. After all, I would bet Doctorow and Taubman live in nice protected communities, and not the dirt holes they would want you to move into.

They could have done this quietly, but they probably thought that by making this public, they were going to join the ‘Woke Luck Club.’

All it did was to bring back to light the reality of the 13% who get arrested for the 52% of violent crimes in America.

But, don’t despair, all is not lost. You don’t have to buy a home in a neighborhood overrun by crime because a couple of CEO’s think you are being ‘insensitive or racially biased’ for wanting to provide a safe environment for your family.

Although real estate agents can’t tell you whether or not you are buying in a good or bad area, your local police department can. You can still get that information, you just have to become your own private investigator.

Redfin and Realtor can remove the crime statistics layer from their search engines, but you have the right to purchase a home in the best neighborhood you can afford.

You have the right to know what kind of criminal activity goes on in the community you are contemplating to buy a home.

So, next time you are in the market for a home, visit the local Sherriff or Police Department, they are the best sources of information regarding the crime activity in your future community.

Raising the Debt Ceiling

Minority Leader Senator Mitch McConnell Offers Democrats an Out

And it will! Photo courtesy of medium.com

When it comes to reckless spending in Washington, there is no such thing as Republican or Democrats.

These two compete against each to see which one can spend the most while taking the country down the road of insolvency.

The fight to raise the debt limit continues, meanwhile Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen, is even suggesting the United States get rid of the debt ceiling all together. This is crazy talk my fellow Americans.

To those of you who do not know the meaning of the debt ceiling, it is simple.

The debt ceiling is the maximum amount of money the United States government can borrow by issuing bonds. Once the national debt touches the debt ceiling, the Treasury department needs to step in to pay government obligations and expenditures until the ceiling is raised by Congress.

In the event the debt ceiling is not raised, the United States government could default on its debt.

Our government continues to spend and borrow money we do not have therefore the debt ceiling needs to be raised to meet those obligations.

How have we got here? In April of 2021, the United States debt hit the $28 trillion mark for the first time ever in our history. This is how you get yourself in a financial bind.

Imagine if you were to call your credit card company and ask for them to raise your credit limit despite the fact you can barely make minimum payments. They will laugh at you.

Then come the threats of a government shutdown. Let us be honest about what it really means and not the apocalyptic picture our government wants to paint.

Essential services and personnel continue to operate. This includes the military, law enforcement, and anything essential to the operation of our government. Welfare checks, military pensions, Social Security benefits, and social services do not stop.

The worst-case scenario is a paid vacation for non-essential government workers. They are sent home and at the end of the shutdown they get paid for work they did not perform.

This happened back in 1995 when Newt Gingrich refused to negotiate with Bill Clinton for higher government spending. It went into 1996, and despite the efforts by the Republicans not to pay furloughed government employees, they eventually caved in. One positive was a balanced budget was agreed upon for the first time in decades.

In 2011, Obama faced the same issue with Republicans asking for deficit reductions in exchange for a raise in the debt ceiling. It was so bad that the Standards & Poor (S&P), stripped the United States of its 70-year triple A rating.

In 2013, the government shutdown for 16 days over the Affordable Care Act. What did Congress do? Eliminated the debt ceiling. Very fiscally responsible if you ask me.

Since then, the debt ceiling has been raised in 2014, 2015, and 2017, and 2019, when the debt reached $22 trillion dollars.

Now, the Republicans are at it again. Mitch McConnell, along with several other “Republicans in Name Only,” senators, has offered the Democrats a “short term solution.”  In a statement, McConnell said the Republicans would support a deal to temporarily suspend the debt ceiling a “fixed dollar amount.”

Nothing is temporary in Washington. According to McConnell, the agreement would cover current spending levels into December, giving the Democrats an out to find a more permanent solution.

What about stopping reckless spending and living within our fiscal means?

The debt ceiling was supposed to be a measure to regulate government spending and to keep the government fiscally responsible. Since World War I, the debt ceiling has been raised over seventy-eight times to avoid government default on its debt. Obviously, it is not working.

Meanwhile, the Democrats in Congress want to spend like drunken sailors by adding trillions of dollars to an already bloated government debt.

Do not hold your breath, the Republicans will cave in, the debt ceiling will be raised along with more spending.

Wash, Rinse, and Repeat!
