Look At Yourself In The Mirror And You Will Find The Answer
Now that the media driven big ‘Red Wave’, which I was guilty of buying into it, did not happen, we could probably learn a thing or two of the outcomes.
As I said back in 2020, politicians are not to blame for their successes or defeats at the ballot box. Politicians do what they do best, they lie, cheat, and steal in order to get elected, but it is up to you, to either believe them or reject them.
As the 2022 mid-term elections are ending, almost 7 days after the fact, the time to blame the politicians for the results is over. It is your responsibility to vote for your best interest and if you did not, shame on you.
In New York state, Governor Kathy Hochul got over 90% of the black vote, despite the fact lockdowns and crime has affected this community more so than any other in New Your City and throughout the state.
In Michigan, Governor Gretchen Whitmer, not only got reelected as governor of Michigan but she also got a Democratic Party House and Senate. This is the same woman who would not allow people to buy seed to plant while her husband was getting preferential treatment to use his boat.
In Illinois, Governor J.B. Pritzker got also reelected. This is the same Pritzker who while Illinois was on lockdown he took off with his family to Florida and was having a good time while people were suffering in his state.
These are a few examples on how people voted despite the facts hitting them square in the face. So how is Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, or even Donald Trump to blame for the Republican losses?
Donald Trump scuttled Dave McCormick’s chance in Pennsylvania while endorsing Dr. Oz for the U.S. Senate. Every serious political pundit knows, and agrees, McCormick had the best chances to defeat Lieutenant Governor Fetterman in the general election.
Needless to say, Dr. Oz got beaten and couldn’t even get the endorsement of the woman who made him a television star, Oprah Winfrey.
Yes, Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, did not do much for the Republicans candidates in Arizona and even funneled money to fight against another Republican candidate in Alaska in order to keep a RINO by his side.
At the end of the day, it was not McConnell, McCarthy, or Trump who got these candidates beaten, it was the voters who did not show up or clearly voted for the opposition candidate.
There is a lot of blame to go around this election cycle, but it was up to us to vote for the candidates we thought had the best ideas and plans for the country.
Until people stop blaming the establishment and start taking responsibility for whom they vote for, this will continue to happen election after election after election.
Our electoral system needs some serious reforms, but it starts with us, the voters.
The Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act Are
I have voted in every presidential election since I came to the mainland from Puerto Rico in 1988. My careers have taken me to several states, and I have never, ever, been denied the right to vote by anyone.
I have voted in person or via absentee ballot. I never had an excuse not to vote, after all, the system affords me all the opportunities to vote and anyone who claims otherwise, is just flat out lazy.
As far as I can remember I have always had an identification. I never walked around without an identification, be a school identification card or my official law enforcement credentials. You cannot do anything in the United States without proper identification, period.
Lack of a photo identification or access to one has been the number one excuse by minority groups to claim some form of voting discrimination. This is a false claim and an excuse for Democrats every time they fail in an election cycle.
As of September 10, 2020, all 50 states have complied with the Department of Homeland Security “Real ID” requirements, meaning everyone is to be issued either a REAL ID driver’s license or state identification card.
Most states accept many forms of non-picture identification, and most of them offer free photo identifications to those who cannot afford to pay for one. This is an excuse that has run its course and a myth that needs to be debunked.
Other excuses include lack of polling places, lack of transportation, or ‘I’m a minority.’ These are nothing more than excuses by those who make a living by being perpetual victims or race hustlers.
The United States Constitution guarantees every American the right to vote, it is up to us as citizens to exercise that right.
The 15th Amendment is clear; “the right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.”
The 19th amendment gave women the right to vote. The 24th amendment eliminated the poll tax and the 26th amendment lowered the voting age from 21 to 18 years of age. Overall, four amendments were specifically designed to address the right to vote in the United States.
We have more amendments addressing this critical issue than any other in our Constitution. This is how important the founding fathers thought about voting rights and the future of a constitutional form of government.
The establishment of voting laws is not part of the Powers of Congress under Section 8 of the Constitution. Today, Joe Biden and the Democrats are trying to federalize our electoral system by enacting legislation that will end our constitutional system of government as we know it.
Article 1, Section 4, Clause 1 of the United States Constitution states, “The Times, and Manner of holding Elections for Senators Places and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.”
The constitution is clear, elections are the responsibility of the individual states, not the federal government.
Joe Biden has openly called for abolishing the Senate 60-vote rule to force the passage of two so-called “voting rights” bills.
Even though Joe Biden always defended the filibuster rule while in the Senate, today he is quoted as saying “this is the moment to decide to defend our elections, to defend our democracy.”
Democrats always forget we are not a democracy; we are a constitutional republic. If they feel there is a problem with our electoral system, they should follow Article 5 of the Constitution and with two thirds of both houses, propose a constitutional amendment.
These so-called “voting rights” bills are nothing more than a complete takeover of our electoral system by the federal government. The Democrats are using fictitious, non-existent problems, to justify their power grab.
What happened on January 6th has nothing to do with voting rights, but the Democrats claim that the Capitol riots were an existential threat to our country and are using it as an excuse to ram these pieces of legislation down our throats. Fear and scaremongering have always been the ‘go-to’ tool for the Democrats.
The Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act are a way for Democrats to set a federal standard on the United States election system, and by default remove, finally, any state involvement in our elections.
If this were to happen, our country will become a dictatorship no different from Venezuela, and you can kiss our Constitution goodbye.
For a party that claims their presidential candidate got over 80 million votes, more than any other president in the history of this country, they do not seem to trust the system our Constitution has given us. Of course, this is the same party who wants nothing to do with the investigation of election irregularities, so go figure.
Joe Biden and the Democrats are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure they keep a hold on power for as long as they can, and if it means to destroy the country and our constitutional republic in the process they will.
They want to replace American citizens with illegal aliens and foreigners they can control, and this is the way to do it. These pieces of legislation will make the requirement of citizenship to vote an afterthought.
Do I believe the Senate will abolish the filibuster? I would like to think not, after all, the Democrats will be in the minority at some point, and like in the past, they will enjoy the benefits of stalling legislation.
But if they do succeed in getting rid of the filibuster rule and pass these two pieces of legislation, I can guarantee the states are not going to take it laying down. I see many judicial challenges including a trip to the Supreme Court.
At the end of the day, this has little to do with voting rights and everything to do with a massive power grab by an already bloated federal government, and a corrupt Democrat Party.
The year 2020 was a year that will be remembered for many decades to come. From a great economy, massive job growth, record setting stock markets, peace deals around the world, deregulation, and a positive outlook for the future of country.
Just few months into the year we were graced by unjustified riots and the politically motivated Covid-19. Cities like Portland and Minneapolis went up in flames while law abiding citizens lived in fear and incompetent local governments allowed the mob to rule the streets while defunding police departments.
States and cities went on to shut down businesses, put people out of work, stifle free speech, and made criminals out of law-abiding citizens by enacting draconian rules and calling them laws. Covid-19 became one of the biggest political footballs of 2020 with the quarterback Anthony Fauci in charge of the fear mongering campaign while controlling the false narrative playbook.
With little facts behind it, states went on panic mode; mask mandates, social distancing, and many other weird and unfounded methods to stop the spread of a virus. Of course, despite these crazy measures, the virus has continued to spread, and for all we know, it may become just a part of our lives like the seasonal flu. Nothing more than an act by government to control and dictate how American’s ought to live their lives.
The government managed, in a few months, to strip American citizens of their dignity, independence, and self-worth, by creating a welfare state. Paying healthy people to stay at home while bankrupting local businesses over a virus with a 97% rate of survival and little science to back it up. Surprisingly, Americans have staked their future on the media instead of facts and common sense. Nothing like getting your medical advice from Don Lemon or Chris Cuomo.
But the biggest whopper of 2020 was the Presidential Election. I have never seen voter fraud of this magnitude since I cast my first vote in 1992. I always read and hear of voter fraud at a smaller scale and credited antiquated systems for these flaws.
In 2020, this voter fraud machine was well oiled and coordinated. While Republicans were whining about frivolous stuff, the Democratic Party was concocting the biggest coup in American history via the ballot box, right under their noses.
State legislatures and Secretaries of State were cooking the rules months before the election, it was not a secret. Obviously, the Republicans underestimated the will of the Democratic Party to steal this election and waited until after the election was stolen to complain and file lawsuits against unconstitutional measures. The United States Supreme Court refused to hear these cases and rightly so, this issue is not a judicial one, but a legislative one.
We love to go around the world telling other countries how to conduct their business and how to conduct elections, but we cannot get our own straight. Perhaps we should have employed the services of Jimmy Carter to monitor our election. This has been an embarrassment of major proportions and the world is watching.
Foreign governments understand the importance of American power, but also see what is going on and how the armor is cracking. Meanwhile, China is on the sidelines, watching and planning, in the event the “American Empire” finally falls.
I had the opportunity to travel the world, and I never thought America would become one of those many third world countries I visited. The things we have seen on television for the past year are things that I used to see reported in foreign countries.
The United States is self-destructing, and I really do not know if there is a way to stop it. Washington politicians are self-serving individuals and if they can cling to power, they could not care less about our well being as a country and as citizens. The government thinks that by throwing money we do not have and creating a welfare state all problems will be solved. This Republic was founded with the idea of small government, but since the sixties, the government has grown so much they believe they are the answer to all our problems.
What happened to American pride? What happened to feeling productive? What happened to American exceptionalism?
One thing I know, America has gone from a Constitutional Republic to a Banana Republic.
President Trump has been warning the country about the possibilities of voter fraud via Mail-In ballots. Guess who’s coming to dinner? Voter Fraud!
We received these N.Y. State ballots in the mail today. We haven’t lived in Clinton County, New York since September 2019, and we currently live in a midwestern State. Obviously, we are not registered to vote in New York. So why did they sent these N.Y. State ballots to our current address? Good question. One thing is for sure, if we were dishonest citizens, it would be easy to fill them out and mail them right back, therefore committing, you guessed it, “Voter Fraud”.
This proves President Trump is right, Mail-In voting can’t be trusted and should be rejected if we are to have an honest and free election.
