The 40 Billion Dollar Monstrosity

“The Big Guy” Taking Care of Others at Your Expense

As Americans Suffer………… Photo courtesy of fool.com

While Americans continue to struggle, our government find it necessary to give Ukraine $40 billion dollars in wasteful aid to continue to fight America’s proxy war with Russia.

As I have written before, the Ukraine saga is more than meets the eye. Ukraine is not a democracy, is not a republic, and it has very little in common with American values.

Why we continue to feed this monster is beyond me. The only thing I can think of is perhaps, Joe “The Big Guy” Biden owes Zelensky big time, so he is paying him back for taking care of his drug addicted son and his own corruption.

The only problem is that he is doing this at the expense of us, the American people.

As the economy continues to move into a recession, the stock market reaches records never seen since the depression, and gasoline prices expected to reach as much as $6.00 per gallon by the summer, among many other bad things, the Biden administration, with much Republican support, continue to spend like a drunken sailor in foreign affairs that have only created hardship for everyday Americans.

While democrats in congress scream “white supremacy” is the biggest threat to America, they have no problem funding a country which main fighting force is comprise of Neo-Nazis, go figure.

According to Reuters, these are the main takeaways from the bloated legislation.

HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE

The legislation includes more than $4 billion in international disaster assistance to respond to humanitarian needs in Ukraine and other affected countries, including the provision of emergency food and shelter.

The legislation also includes $350 million in migration and refugee assistance for the U.S. State Department to assist refugees from Ukraine and support to other countries in Eastern Europe.

The number of people who have fled Ukraine to escape Russia’s invasion has passed 6 million, in Europe’s worst refugee crisis since the end of World War Two, a U.N. refugee agency said on Thursday. read more

Most have crossed to the European Union through border points in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, where volunteers and governments have scrambled to help them find accommodation and provide support.

ECONOMIC SUPPORT FUND

The package also includes nearly $9 billion for an economic support fund for Ukraine and other countries affected by the conflict, including programs to combat human trafficking and money that can be used to respond to food insecurity.

The funds may be used to provide direct financial support to the government of Ukraine, according to the bill, although cash transfers would be subject to a memorandum of understanding, and certain safeguards and oversight.

The Global Network Against Food Crises, set up by the United Nations and European Union, said in its annual report this month that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – both countries are major food producers – poses serious risks to global food security, especially in vulnerable countries including Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Haiti, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

SECURITY ASSISTANCE

The package includes almost $15 billion for defense operations and maintenance, which includes $6 billion for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative and $8.7 billion to replenish stocks of U.S. equipment sent to Ukraine.

The legislation includes hundreds of millions of dollars for the procurement of missiles, weapons and tracked combat vehicles, ammunition and aircraft, among others.

It also provides $4 billion in Foreign Military Financing to provide support for Ukraine and other countries affected by the crisis, and $100 million for non-proliferation, anti-terrorism, demining and related programs.

PRESIDENTIAL DRAWDOWN AUTHORITY

The legislation authorizes up to a further $11 billion in Presidential Drawdown Authority, which allows the president to authorize the transfer of articles and services from U.S. stocks without congressional approval in response to an emergency.

DIPLOMACY

The legislation authorizes nearly $200 million for the U.S. State Department’s diplomatic programs to respond to the situation in Ukraine and countries affected by the conflict.

It also authorizes $110 million for embassy security, construction and maintenance.

This is nothing more than wasteful spending on a conflict that provides zero benefit to the American people and only draw us closer to a possible nuclear conflict with Russia.

Remember, as we fight this proxy war with Russia, our so-called European allies continue to leisurely buy Russian oil and gas, so don’t be fooled, we are not in this together. Americans are paying the price for this boondoggle.

Furthermore, this is an attempt by the Biden administration to distract Americans from the realities right here at home. Joe Biden thinks you are that kind of stupid.

Next time you go to the gas station to fill up your vehicle or go to the grocery store buy baby formula, and find none, just remember, “The Big Guy” is taking care of others before taking care of the American people.

Remember this come November, and hold your government officials accountable at the ballot box, otherwise, these charlatans will continue to destroy our country at their leisure.

Is It Time to Ditch the PGA Tour?

I Think so…

Damaged Goods! Enough said!

Since the cancelation of the Player’s Championship due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the PGA Tour has gone on a downward spiral.

First, they wanted to be the first sport to defy the pandemic with a big comeback. Jay Monahan adopted some draconian rules, instituted some flawed restrictions, and he got his wish.

The first event was the Charles Schwab Challenge and not to outdo himself, Jay Monahan decide that it was a wise decision to save an honorary tee time for convicted felon, George Floyd.

Probably because he thought the Black Lives Matter thugs were going to campout outside the gates at Colonial, so he wanted to be as woke as possible to avoid such embarrassment. The problem with Jay’s move is that it was embarrassing.

Of all the people they could have chosen for an honorary tee time, the PGA Tour chooses a convicted felon, drug addict, and domestic violence perpetrator. Nice example for the kids to follow.

After that, it was the ‘White Guilt’ trip. Every tournament the likes of Cameron Champ, Tony Finau, and Harold Varner III, were the faces of the PGA Tour. The PGA Tour took it upon itself to lecture fans on racial issues instead of just entertaining the crowds.

Lumping everyone in the same group has never been smart, but when the PGA Tour jumped into the woke stratosphere, they did not know what they were getting into.

Today’s professional golf is about talent, regardless of color or race, unfortunately the PGA Tour wants to tell you, the fan, that you are a racist, but still wants your money.

Of course, this was a flash in the pan. These gentlemen should have known this gig was not going to last forever. The PGA Tour did not get boycotted and that is all they wanted. Mission accomplished Jay!

The fact remains that Finau, Champ, and Varner III, are remarkable golf players and do not need the PGA Tour to equate their talent with their race. It is cheap and unfair.

When you have to try to sell your product with specific messaging your product is probably not that good to begin with. The PGA Tour has gone out of their way to let us know they are not a bunch of racists, and their mission is to make golf as inclusive as possible.

Sure, as long as you do not try to play the private clubs that nobody else can play. Stick to the municipal and public courses and they will be as inclusive as they can be. The PGA Tour is full of it.

They have peddled inclusiveness since 2014, but it was not until the Black Lives Matter movement threatened their livelihood, the PGA Tour actually felt the heat.

Then it came LIV and Greg Norman. For months, PGA Tour Commissioner, Jay Monahan, has said, in not so many words, any player wishing to play on the LIV Golf League can do it at their own peril.

To be honest, I have always thought of Jay Monahan as a petty thug. He always walks around like he is better than anyone else, like a bully searching for a fight. He reminds me of a mafia “Don.”

He got a prize fight coming with Greg Norman and with the players that wish to play LIV events and cash-in big. Of course, the top 10 players in the world who make millions, not only on the course, but with major endorsement deals, are sticking with Monahan.

People like Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy are nothing more than Monahan’s lapdogs, spreading his lousy talking points.

Most of these players do not know anything about geopolitics and get their information from Twitter or Facebook, so for them to whine about the Saudi Arabian government without the facts means nothing.

Where were Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, or even the ‘has been’ Fred Couples, when the PGA Tour was giving honorary tee times to a convicted felon?

Has the PGA Tour ever given an honorary tee time to a fallen law enforcement officer? Not that I can remember, despite the fact police officers provide protection to these bunch during golf tournaments.

Furthermore, spare me the outrage over Saudi Arabia and its human rights record. China’s is not that good either, but the NBA does business with the Chinese Communist Party and nobody screams outrage.

Nike, a big sponsor of players on the PGA Tour, makes its apparel in China, and those making millions from wearing Nike apparel on the PGA Tour do not seem to care about China’s dismal human rights record. Either that or they choose to ignore it for the sake of making money, which is even worse.

Why McIlroy and other professional players continue to use apparel made by Nike? After all, this apparel is manufacture in China under awful conditions, in what many have called child labor camps and sweatshops.

The Chinese Communist Party is an equal violator of human rights, but I do not hear Jay Monahan complaining about it or McIlroy giving up his big Nike contract. Nothing but hypocrites.

The PGA Tour has very little room to claim the moral high ground over Greg Norman or the LIV Golf League.

The PGA Tour has shown its true nature during this spat with Greg Norman. Their behavior and reaction has made me questioned their ‘non-profit’ status and welcome any investigation by the Federal Trade Commission.

I believe the PGA Tour, by threatening independent contractors with their livelihoods, is breaking antitrust laws, and behaving like a business and not a non-profit organization.

The PGA Tour and DP World Tour are acting as if they have an absolute ownership of golf. I believe they are attempting to monopolize professional golf and are using some questionable practices to keep PGA Tour and DP World Tour members on a tight leach.

A clear example is how Jay Monahan denied all the waivers for players to play the first LIV event in London. The PGA Tour has always granted these waivers in the past and this is nothing more than Jay Monahan flexing his muscle. I think some players are going to take the plunge and deal with the PGA Tour in court, if necessary, and I hope they do.

The PGA Tour is a big money maker, so I do not understand why they cannot coexist with the LIV League. IRS filings for FY2019, show the PGA Tour total assets at a $3,384,025,893.00 and even after expenses, the PGA Tour had a net balance of over 1 billion dollars. Not too shabby for a ‘non-profit’ organization if you ask me.

https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/520999206/202023219349309777/full

I believe the PGA Tour has become a toxic environment not worthy of my viewership. It is a shame because I thought golf was going to stay away from all the woke-isms, but under Jay Monahan’s regime, they are neck deep in it.

I love and watch golf for its entertainment value, not to be lectured on social issues. The LIV saga and the way the PGA Tour has treated Phil Mickelson, finally did it for me and I am ready to write off the PGA Tour along with all their hypocritical garbage.

I am looking forward to watching some LIV events, and I am looking forward to seeing which players are ready to take the leap and let Jay Monahan make his move.

LIV v. PGA Tour is just around the corner, and I cannot wait to see how it will turn out. Professional golf and the PGA Tour are ready to face an awakening.

The PGA Tour better have lots of money to spend on lawyers, because you can bet Greg Norman is going to have all the money he will need.

I believe in competition and the free market. LIV has provided the PGA Tour and DP World Tour an opportunity to put their money where their mouth is and prove to the world they are indeed a better product and not the only product.

The fans are not stupid and they are very capable of deciding which product is better.

The 80 Million Voter Man Week-in-Review

Joe Biden and an Administration Barely Alive

The 80 Million Voter Man is no 6 Million Dollar Man. Photo courtesy of NBC.com

In the introduction to the 6 Million Dollar Man, you can hear the following:

Harve Bennett:
Steve Austin, astronaut. A man barely alive.

Oscar Goldman:
Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world’s first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better than he was before. Better… stronger… faster.

In 2022 United States the introduction would be as follow:

The American People:

Joe Biden, President. A man barely alive.

Failed Democrat Controlled Government:

Gentlemen, we cannot rebuild him. We do not have the technology.

We do not have the capability to restore Joe Biden’s credibility. Joe Biden is a liar. A bigger liar than before. Worse, weaker…slower.

It has been an interesting week with the 80 Million Voter Man continuing to spread misinformation and blaming Russia for everything, from higher gasoline prices to the lack of baby formula for American citizens.

It seems Joe Biden cannot take responsibility for what is a failed administration. A broken border, a proxy war with Russia via Ukraine, the highest inflation levels in decades, higher consumer products prices, gasoline prices at record high and rising, shortages of baby formula for American citizens babies, you name it, it is Russia’s fault.

While the United States government, including Republicans, continue to send billions of dollars to Ukraine, and war monger Republican senator Lindsey Graham calls for an “all out” war with Russia, Americans continue to suffer and the people in charge of this country do not care.

This week was no different than the one before. Joe Biden went on a speaking spree throwing the same talking points, Russia this, Russia that, but with no viable solution in sight. He had nothing to offer but silly rhetoric and a bag full of lies.

While Americans are put in the position to choose between feeding their families or paying their mortgage, the Democrats continue to go the “social issues” route, from student loan debt forgiveness to abortion rights.

In the real world, the problems keeping Americans up at night are more pressing. Since January 2022, natural gas prices have tripled and new record highs of $4.40 per gallon of gasoline are making everyday life a lot tougher.

With the upcoming reversal of Title 42 things are going to get even more difficult. The influx of thousands of illegal aliens is going to overwhelm an already stressed system and it is going to put more pressure on social services meant for American citizens.

If you want a little preview, go no further than the current baby formula crisis. While shelfs are running empty, the United States government have horded large amounts of baby formula for illegal aliens at their detention facilities.

If you listen to the 80 Million Voter Man, you will think everything is fine, but is not. The Biden administration claims this crisis “is not new to the White House.” Were they aware and did nothing?

Who knows, maybe Joe has been hording the baby formula for himself.

Joe Biden claims he will speed up manufacturing process while cracking down on price gauging. Folks, he cannot do this, and he knows it. There is no evidence of price gauging, but plenty of evidence of government hording.

The Biden Food and Drug Administration shutdown the Abbott Nutrition Plant in Sturgis, Michigan for a whole month. They knew what was going to happen and if they did not, shame on them.

Another week ends with Joe Biden lying to the American people, blaming everything on Russia, funding a proxy war with Russia with money we do not have, and keeping American babies from accessing baby formula while illegal aliens, and their children, are well taken care of by the same government who neglects its citizens.

Another garden variety week from the 80 Million Voter Man.

Stay tuned for next week episode of the 80 Million Voter Man, I guarantee, it will not disappoint.

Wish of The Day

I am Just Waiting for The Day…

Joe, always going for the lowest hanging fruit available. Photo courtesy of myhfa.org

Joe Biden gives a job to someone qualified and not because of some perceived social qualifier.

Now that White House press secretary Jen Psaki is leaving the White House to join the lunatic fringe at MSNBC, her successor will be the current deputy secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre.

In typical Joe Biden fashion, of going for the lowest hanging fruit available, just as he did with his Supreme Court Justice nominee, he spoke of Jean-Pierre and why she was the person for the job, not by addressing her talent, but by touting her as the first openly gay White House press secretary and the first black woman to hold the position.

Once again, Joe Biden brags about giving a job to someone, not because they are qualified, but because they meet some type of left leaning social qualification.

He nominates and promotes a Supreme Court Justice based on her color and sex, and now he brags about appointing a White House press secretary based on her sex, color, and sexual orientation.

I will like to think these people would want to be recognized for their talents and not for some ridiculous social checkbox.

Perhaps someday Joe Biden will appoint someone to a job for no other reason than being the best qualified for the job, regardless or race, color, sexual orientation, etc, etc, etc.

One can only wish.

Banana Republic Economics

The Ongoing Failures of the Biden Administration and the Federal Reserve

Citing inflation, the United States Federal reserve has raised its base interest rate by 0.5% in addition to selling off its balance sheet of trillion of dollars.

This rate hike has been the biggest since May of 2000 under the fantasy that it will tackle the current, and upward going, inflation rate of 8.5%. If you believe this I have a bridge to sell you.

Fed chairman Jerome Powell was quoted as saying, “Inflation is much too high.” Really Mr. Powell? Is the failed economic policy of the Biden administration that has pushed inflation to an all time high, this is not rocket science.

Powell’s comments come with a caveat. He stated the policies “can only impact the demand side of things and not supply disruptions.” Yes, because supply disruptions are also the result of the Biden administration lack of planning and their ridiculous shutdown of our economy over a virus with a mortality rate lower than the seasonal influenza.

Powell went on to blame the supply issues on China’s Covid-19 lockdowns and the Ukrainian conflict. First, we have been living with Covid for the last two years, secondly, supply chain issues were in place long before the start of the Ukrainian conflict.

He admitted the rate hike may cause short term unemployment, but the fact is people are quitting their jobs. After two years of sitting at home and working remotely, employees are refusing to return to work and instead are resigning.

When government pays you better wages to sit at home than to actually produce something to earn it, some people are going to abuse it.

He stated, “the labor market is extremely tight.” Folks, the labor market is tight because people are refusing to return to work, period. With 11.9 million jobs available and only 6 million Americans looking for work, even with Common Core mathematics the numbers do not lie.

“There may be some pain for Americans.” That is an understatement.

Americans have been in financial pain since the Biden administration took over. The proof is clear, from higher energy prices to empty shelves at the grocery stores. Americans have been put in a position to choose between feeding their families or filling up their vehicles to go to work.

What this rate hike is going to do? Nothing! Is going to put more stress on everyday Americans. By raising interest rates on credit cards, making it harder for first time home buyers to afford a home, and food prices skyrocketing as supplies continue to shrink, choices are going to be tight.

The Federal Reserve will continue to raise interest rates until they hit their target of 2% inflation. We are at 8.5% and rising, this goal is unrealistic and actually will cripple American families even more so.

Meanwhile the democrats believe abortion is the thing that keeps Americans awake at night. This is Banana Republic economics, and it is going to get worse before it gets better.
