In the last 5 years, I have read some crazy stuff online, some of them borderline insane. This op-ed by three retired generals is not only offensive to our military, but as ridiculous as the three men who wrote it.

They imply that a civil war is imminent, and it will be initiated from within the ranks of the military, if the wrong electoral results are achieved in the 2024 election.

In a nutshell, they are suggesting the Pentagon purges its ranks of what they call would-be “mutineers.”

The op-ed is nothing more than random opinions with no evidence to support their claims.

You know they are shooting with empty barrels when their best example of a possible 2024 ‘insurrection’ is the refusal by the Oklahoma National Guard to punish those who refuse to be forcefully vaccinated.

Folks, we never had a military coup in the history of our country and to suggest our military is about to start one is lunacy. This is stuff you see in third world countries, not in the United States.

Some may not like the results of an election, but to suggest our military would be ready to remove a sitting president is unpatriotic.

To give legitimacy to this kind of talk is irresponsible and those suggesting such a thing are no different than the so-called ‘insurrectionists’ they are warning us about.

General Eaton, General Taguba, General Anderson, and the Washington Post, should be dismissed and ignored.

One thing is to hold those responsible for the January 6th riots accountable for their actions, but to make such a blanket statement about our servicemembers is, in my opinion, treasonous and unbecoming.

As much as American athletes love to lecture the common folk, they rarely put their money where their mouth is.

Some of them love to hate the United States, badmouth the country about how horrible it is, but they don’t have second thoughts about taking money so they can enjoy international and national competitions at our expense.

I am not surprised one bit. This is the type of society in which we live, the type of United States wokeness and social media have created.

The upcoming Winter Olympics in Beijing are a clear example of American hypocrisy. Our government runs their mouth criticizing China, and rightly so, but hasn’t done a thing about the United States position.

Sure, a meaningless diplomatic boycott gives the Biden administration headlines, but it doesn’t affect the outcome. China will still enjoy, and reap, the benefits of having United States athletes participating at the Olympics.

Not only has the United States team been outfitted with Ralph Lauren gear, which is mostly made in, you guessed it, China, but the United States Olympic Committee has remained silent about China and has refused to criticize China’s horrific record on human rights abuses.

The list of abuses is endless. From Uyghur ‘concentration camps’ in Xinyang to the inexplicable disappearance of Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai and Beijing’s cover up.

The Biden administration has done nothing to hold China accountable, on the contrary, under Joe Biden, the Chinese Communist Party seems to enjoy a level of moral immunity never seen before.

Why hasn’t the United States pulled the plug on the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics? Why is the United States rewarding an oppressive regime with the presence and prestige of United States athletes?

The United States Olympic Committee and the Biden administration should be ashamed of themselves.

How dare we claim the moral highroad while at the same time we won’t condemn the Chinese Communist Party human rights abuses?

The government says the athletes should not be punished, is not their fault. Well, these athletes are representing not only our country, but they represent every single one of us.

I don’t approve of a communist regime who starve its people, place people in concentration camps because of their religious beliefs, threaten its neighbors with invasion, and intimidate our country with vile threats.

To say President Carter had more ‘cojones’ than Joe Biden by leading the boycott of the 1980 Moscow Olympics says a lot about our current state of affairs in this country.

The United States needs to lead again. The United States needs to send a clear message to Beijing and completely boycott the 2022 Winter Olympics in the name of human rights and what the United States stands for.

I won’t be watching!

In a press conference on Tuesday, Joe Biden claimed Americans have gotten wealthier during the pandemic than they were before.

He declared the United States was the only country whose residents could count themselves richer than they had been before the pandemic.

My reaction to these nonsensical statements? Aloud laughter.

“America’s the only major economy, the only one in the world, where the economy is bigger today, and families have more money in their pockets, than before the pandemic hit.”

Sure, when you have an irresponsible Federal Reserve who continues to print money with complete disregard to the long-term effect on the dollar, the economy, and a never ending pandemic unemployment program. Well, a broken clock is right twice a day.

He went on to say, this was a “testament to the effectiveness of the vaccines and our vaccination effort.” “a testament to the economic policies we’ve fought so hard to pass.”

Vaccine effectiveness? That is why he has Fauci on national television talking about booster shots and holiday lockdowns?

Economic policies? Does he mean the higher gasoline prices and highest inflation in decades?

The only people making money and getting wealthier because of COVID-19 are, billionaires, the pharmaceutical companies, Walmart, and Amazon.

The numbers show that $2.1 trillion dollars has been added to the coffers of the richest billionaires, with Elon Musk of Tesla, making $209 billion dollars all by his lonesome.

The middle-class and the poor in the United States are not wealthier Joe, in fact the poor remains poor and the middle-class is about gone.

This is the disconnect of our elitist government class.

Tapping on The Strategic Petroleum Reserves Solves Nothing

The Biden administration has decided to release 50 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserves to quell the rising prices of gasoline.

32 million barrels will be an exchange and 18 million barrels are an advance release from a prior authorized sale.

What all these mumbo-jumbo means for American consumers? Absolutely nothing, zero, zilch, nada.

The United States consumes an average of 18.2 barrels of petroleum daily. At that pace, the amount released is only good for about three days, so you do the math.

Additionally, it will take at least two weeks to make all this happen, so do not expect to see any relief at the pump any time soon. You will continue to pay high gasoline prices, period.

As is garden variety with the Biden administration, this is nothing more than empty gestures. They know this is not going to alleviate our gasoline problem, but it makes them look like they are doing something.

Folks, they are not doing anything. Unfortunately, their base is dumb enough to see it, and with a left-wing media apparatus covering every mistake the administration makes, not too many people are going to see it for what it is, and they will praise the administration for it.

In the meantime, the government is going to pillage our reserves while shutting down energy sources that could safeguard our own future and energy independence.

Since we do not produce much anymore; how is the administration plan to restock the reserves? They do not know.

This has nothing to do with OPEC, the Trump administration, or none of that other nonsense the Biden administration wants you to believe. This has everything to do with the administration’s lack of a solid energy policy and our forced dependency on foreign oil.

In the words of Forrest Gump, “as stupid as stupid does.” The United States has been run by very stupid people.
