Joe Biden gives a job to someone qualified and not because of some perceived social qualifier.
Now that White House press secretary Jen Psaki is leaving the White House to join the lunatic fringe at MSNBC, her successor will be the current deputy secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre.
In typical Joe Biden fashion, of going for the lowest hanging fruit available, just as he did with his Supreme Court Justice nominee, he spoke of Jean-Pierre and why she was the person for the job, not by addressing her talent, but by touting her as the first openly gay White House press secretary and the first black woman to hold the position.
Once again, Joe Biden brags about giving a job to someone, not because they are qualified, but because they meet some type of left leaning social qualification.
He nominates and promotes a Supreme Court Justice based on her color and sex, and now he brags about appointing a White House press secretary based on her sex, color, and sexual orientation.
I will like to think these people would want to be recognized for their talents and not for some ridiculous social checkbox.
Perhaps someday Joe Biden will appoint someone to a job for no other reason than being the best qualified for the job, regardless or race, color, sexual orientation, etc, etc, etc.
The Ongoing Failures of the Biden Administration and the Federal Reserve

Citing inflation, the United States Federal reserve has raised its base interest rate by 0.5% in addition to selling off its balance sheet of trillion of dollars.
This rate hike has been the biggest since May of 2000 under the fantasy that it will tackle the current, and upward going, inflation rate of 8.5%. If you believe this I have a bridge to sell you.
Fed chairman Jerome Powell was quoted as saying, “Inflation is much too high.” Really Mr. Powell? Is the failed economic policy of the Biden administration that has pushed inflation to an all time high, this is not rocket science.
Powell’s comments come with a caveat. He stated the policies “can only impact the demand side of things and not supply disruptions.” Yes, because supply disruptions are also the result of the Biden administration lack of planning and their ridiculous shutdown of our economy over a virus with a mortality rate lower than the seasonal influenza.
Powell went on to blame the supply issues on China’s Covid-19 lockdowns and the Ukrainian conflict. First, we have been living with Covid for the last two years, secondly, supply chain issues were in place long before the start of the Ukrainian conflict.
He admitted the rate hike may cause short term unemployment, but the fact is people are quitting their jobs. After two years of sitting at home and working remotely, employees are refusing to return to work and instead are resigning.
When government pays you better wages to sit at home than to actually produce something to earn it, some people are going to abuse it.
He stated, “the labor market is extremely tight.” Folks, the labor market is tight because people are refusing to return to work, period. With 11.9 million jobs available and only 6 million Americans looking for work, even with Common Core mathematics the numbers do not lie.
“There may be some pain for Americans.” That is an understatement.
Americans have been in financial pain since the Biden administration took over. The proof is clear, from higher energy prices to empty shelves at the grocery stores. Americans have been put in a position to choose between feeding their families or filling up their vehicles to go to work.
What this rate hike is going to do? Nothing! Is going to put more stress on everyday Americans. By raising interest rates on credit cards, making it harder for first time home buyers to afford a home, and food prices skyrocketing as supplies continue to shrink, choices are going to be tight.
The Federal Reserve will continue to raise interest rates until they hit their target of 2% inflation. We are at 8.5% and rising, this goal is unrealistic and actually will cripple American families even more so.
Meanwhile the democrats believe abortion is the thing that keeps Americans awake at night. This is Banana Republic economics, and it is going to get worse before it gets better.

I am not surprised the Biden administration would concoct such a battering ram against freedom of speech and freedom of opinion and ideas. After all, this is the same administration who thrives on misinformation.
Remember, Joe Biden got more than 80 million votes, concerned parents are domestic terrorists, January 6th was an insurrection, despite the fact nobody has been charged with such a crime, the economy is great, gas prices and the inflation are Russia’s fault, and the list goes on and on.
You would think the creation of such of board would be to keep the government from spreading misinformation, but that does not seem to be the plan. Sounds more like a tool to silence us, the American citizen.
The democrats understand Covid-19 woke a sleeping monster inside the American people, the monster of curiosity. Covid-19 exposed the reality of our failed government run education system, the long arm of government overreach, the curtailment of constitutional rights under the guise of ‘health’, and the dangers of an unaccountable government.
From Critical Race Theory to transgender indoctrination of little children, the democrats have attempted to change our societal norms by force. The people have rejected those changes as they understand they are divisive in nature and spoon fed by a minority who wants to impose their will upon the rest of us.
Facing this American ‘awakening’, the democrats have to produce something to control the left-wing narrative and to silence any opinion or discussion that can expose their backwards policies; enter the Disinformation Governance Board.
What is the purpose of such a department? The Department of Homeland Security claims is to combat ‘foreign misinformation and disinformation.’ I do not buy it; we have a Central Intelligence Agency to do just that.
Curiously, the announcement came days after Elon Musk purchased social media platform Twitter with the promise of ‘more freedom of speech’, and after former president Obama went on a speaking spree pleading his case that more government was necessary to provide oversight and regulation for these platforms.
Freedom of speech is a protected constitutional right, and I do not believe a bureaucracy like DHS have the authority to create a misinformation bureau to control such speech. We have law enforcement agencies tasked to track foreign adversaries, so I have to deduct this is nothing more than a silencing tool for domestic consumption.
DHS claims is a tool of national security, but our own government can declare anything a ‘matter of national security,’ and without the proper oversight can become a tool of suppression for those voices who happen to disagree with the government’s position.
To make matters worse, DHS Secretary Majorkas has designated the ‘Queen of Misinformation,’ Nina Jankowicz, as its executive director.
She was one of the biggest advocates against the Hunter Biden’s computer fiasco, going along with the nonsense that it was Russian misinformation.
This woman used a Mary Poppins song to create a video about so-called disinformation. The word on the internet is that she is a frustrated actress, well, I can see why.
She definitely fits the bill for such a position in the Biden administration, it seems spreading misinformation is her best asset, plus she does not seem to have all her marbles upstairs.
Many Americans, including members of congress, have questioned the legitimacy and purpose of this board. I believe it is time to have hearings, and if the government wants to create a new bureaucracy, it should be done through the legislative process.

Joe Biden continues to go on national television calling Vladimir Putin names and playing the tough guy for everyone to see. In reality, Joe Biden is weak and is using the Ukraine conflict as a smoke screen to camouflage a crippling economy, his own son’s criminal activities, and a dismal approval rating here at home.
With his drug addicted son, Hunter Biden’s investigations and possible indictments, the fixers in the White House are trying to keep the American people in the dark by downplaying the story and by blaming Putin for our energy and economic woes.
As I have written before, all our problems were already here, long before Putin realized Biden was an incompetent fool with a big mouth. Instead of acting, Biden has chosen to play a game of words while the rest of Europe continues to buy gas and oil from Russia because they cannot afford not to.
Enter the Bucha massacre, allegedly perpetrated by the Russian Army. Joe Biden goes on calling Putin a “war criminal,” which it may be true, but coming from a country who refuses to recognize the International Criminal Court as a legitimate entity, it is laughable.
The Russians asked for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, but Britain, who is in charge of the Council, refused to grant such a request, instead telling the Russians they could wait until the regularly scheduled meeting on April 4th.
Why would the British not want to listen to the Russians and their defense against the accusations leveled by Joe Biden and Zelensky?
It is obviously politically motivated and not a search for the truth of what happened in Bucha and who actually did it.
You would think the International Criminal Court would be dispatching an investigative team to the region, but the court’s chief prosecutor, who happens to be British, has not moved a finger despite the fact he announced back in March that he was going full force investigating war crimes allegations.
I guess by the time chief prosecutor Khan decides to send a team, the alleged crime scene will completely be disturbed, bodies moved, and possible witnesses gone. Very convenient if you ask me.
I have a different theory. Could it be the Ukrainian National Police committed these atrocities in retaliation for possible cooperation with the Russian forces by the citizens of Bucha? It is easy to accuse the Russians when nobody is looking for the truth.
Of course, Biden screams “You saw what happened in Bucha,” and Vladimir Putin “is a war criminal.” Joe Biden is not seeking peace, he does not want peace, instead he is advocating for more weapons deployments to Ukraine to keep the war going. The longer this goes on, the longer he can try to hide his incompetency from the American people.
If we really want to honor the memory of those who perished in Bucha, we deserve, they deserve for the truth to be told. Unfortunately, Joe Biden, Zelensky, and the bellicose west do not feel the same way.
One of the first signs of being a weak leader is when such a leader goes overseas to air his or her country’s dirty laundry.
Obama did it when he went to the Middle East to bow to the Sheiks and apologize for America’s leadership throughout the world and now Joe Biden has done it again at the NATO summit.

President Biden said Monday that he’s assured NATO allies that the Republican party is “vastly diminished,” and they need not fear a repeat of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
“The Republican Party is vastly diminished in numbers, the leadership of the Republican Party is fractured, and the Trump wing of the party is the bulk of the party, but it makes up a significant minority of the American people,”
Referring to January 6, he continued, “I think that they’ve seen things happen as we have that shocked and surprised them, but I think they believe, like I do, that the American people are not going to sustain that kind of behavior,”
He called the Jan. 6 assault a “shock and surprise,” adding that the chaos stemmed from President Trump’s “phony populism.” He also took a swipe at Republican senators who resisted a bipartisan, independent commission to investigate the Capitol riot.
“It is disappointing that so many of my former colleagues in the Senate, who I know know better, have been reluctant to take on an investigation because they are worried about being primaried.”
This is what we have representing us on the world stage. An old buffoonish character who has no respect for our country and who goes around spreading lies to our allies about the state of our country’s politics.
The Republican Party is not “vastly diminished,” unless he means that as long as his party can steal elections they will never be in power.
Joe Biden has done such a dismal job on all fronts; the Republicans are bound to take the majorities on the House of Representatives and the Senate on the 2022 mid-term elections. Only Joe Biden believes in his dementia ridden world that he has done a great job.
He keeps running around with the January 6th narrative which most intelligent people understand it was done by a dedicated group of people, nothing more. Nobody involved in that riot killed anyone as Joe Biden told NATO today, that is a lie and a disgusting one at that.
The only innocent person killed on January 6th was Air Force veteran Ashley Babbitt by a Capitol Police officer.
Joe Biden not only embarrassed himself but embarrassed our country. He offered NATO nothing but a laundry list of lies and a bunch of crocodile tears. He cried to NATO about the Republicans and Donald Trump. I am sure NATO does not care about his own personal issues.
Perhaps Joe Biden is dealing with his own conscience, perhaps he knows he is a phoney and needs the reassurance from NATO that he is a great leader, but even NATO knows Joe Biden is not the right leader to lead and defeat Vladimir Putin.
What have we got from this meeting? Nothing that would benefit the American people. The only thing we got was the promise from Joe Biden to take 100,000 Ukrainian refugees.
We do not need more refugees while American citizens are going hungry and homeless. With a 7% rate of inflation, and gas prices through the roof, the United States cannot absorb more refugees in addition to the thousands of illegal aliens crossing our southern border.
He also stated an investment of over $320 million, tax payers, dollars in “democracy” and “human rights” funding in Ukraine and neighboring countries. Is this guy serious? Ukraine does not believe in human rights or democracy. Zelenski is an autocrat, but of course, he is Biden’s buddy.
Only two years ago the American media portrayed Ukraine as a corrupt, totalitarian, and untrustworthy country, but today Ukraine is a bastion of democracy. Sounds like a bad joke written by the comedian Zelenski himself.
Joe Biden is weak, and the media continues with their attempts to cover up his weakness.
