Is Not a Good Day to Be Stupid

Unless You Are a Democratic Party Politician

Not a good day to be a democrat! Garcetti and Schumer score big.

When it is not your day, it is not your day. Today a couple of Democratic Party politicians could not help themselves and exposed their stupidity for everyone to see.

Let us start with the master of pandering, Senator Chuck Schumer of New York. While addressing a group of people touting Joe Biden’s promised to nominate a black woman to the United States Supreme Court, the senator took a sizable chunk of his foot and put it deep inside his mouth.

He went on to claim that until 1981 the Supreme Court was all white men. Obviously, the Senator forgot that from 1967 to 1991, Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, who was black, was part of the Supreme Court. Justice Clarence Thomas later replaced Justice Marshall.

Talk about embarrassing, especially when Schumer was already serving in government while Justice Marshall was still an active member of the court.

Typical Democrat, Schumer went on an apology tour, but not before getting smoked on social media.

A suggestion to my liberal friends, if you are going to act “woke” know your stuff before making a fool of yourself. Your foolishness only gives people like me good writing material.

Next, we go all the way to the wrecked state of California, where Eric Garcetti, Mayor of Los Angeles, could have earned an academy award nomination for the stupidest statement I have ever read about Covid-19 and mask wearing.

Mind you, Los Angeles requires every citizen, including the vaccinated, to always wear a mask during indoor activities.

Mayor Garcetti was caught with his pants down when basketball player, Magic Johnson, posted pictures of him on Twitter and the mask-less Mayor having a jolly good time at SoFi Stadium.

When confronted, Mayor Garcetti dismissed the complaints by stating that a mask is not necessary if you hold your breath. Say what? That is right folks, the Mayor of Los Angeles went on to say “there is zero percent chance of infection” if you hold your breath.

You cannot make this stuff up; I could not produce this type of nonsense even if I try.

Let us look at the bright side, Garcetti has found an effective way to stop the spread of Covid-19, despite the fact the CDC has not recommended human beings stop breathing to reduce the spread of infection.

I have the sneaky feeling that holding one’s breath is not at all helpful.

Stupid is as stupid does. Garcetti and Schumer scored big.
